We may choose to start acupuncture treatments at any point during your naturopathic journey. Acupuncture is the insertion of sterile needles to specific points along energy pathways in your body. Immune system reaction to foods may cause symptoms of pain & inflammation throughout the body, this test can take the guesswork out of what foods for YOU to avoid. Like your immune system, the results of this test change over time, the gut healing you achieve can decrease your overall sensitivity to foods.

As an ND in the Moncton area since 2003, I have a special interest in helping women amp up their energy in perimenopause — from brain clarity and metabolism to stamina and mood — using evidence-informed naturopathic strategies.

I also work part time for St. Francis Herb Farm, an organic, family-owned grower and producer of medicinal herbs.

My office hours reflect another role I love — being a mother to two children — so I focus my clinical hours while they’re in school. In my spare time, you’ll usually find me outside mountain biking, gardening, or exploring new places with my family.

It’s been a revolutionary week in women’s health, as a condition with incidence of 1 in 8 reproductive women gets renamed.
The formerly known as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and now renamed polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS) removes the emphasis of multiple ovarian cysts, and puts more attention on the numerous and oftentimes more symptomatic hormonal and metabolic reaches of the syndrome. This reframing and renaming helps bring more attention to the multitudes of ways this picture can present itself in practice, and will hopefully lead to more attention and diagnosis’ for women who experience it.

Research Study on Communication After Unwanted Sexual Encounters

A Ph.D. student at the University of Windsor is conducting a confidential study on
what happens after unwanted sexual experiences, with a focus on any communication or contact
with the person involved afterward. Women and gender-diverse individuals aged 16 and older
who live in Canada and have had this type of experience are eligible to participate.

The study involves completing an online survey, and some participants may be invited to participate in a
confidential one-on-one follow-up interview. Survey participants will be entered into a draw to
win one of ten $25 gift cards to a store of their choice.

2 x lemon 🍋 zest + juice
1 x 400 ml can of coconut 🥥 milk
1/2 cup stevia or other sweetener
1/2 cup water 1/2 cup chia seeds
Pinch of salt
1 tsp turmeric powder

Mix together well, divide into jars & refrigerate for at least an hour but longer if possible.
